At first I was very happy with how Snape turned out here, but after some time I think, ugh, that's a bit too fangirlish... =S But oh well... I'll try to keep that in mind so it won't happen again. I did most of this on my old computer and just finished it on the new one - looked much better on the old one with the smaller screen and strange colours. xD Anyway, I also wanted to draw an actual background for once and not just make everything black (though I really like the dreary, simple ones) but I don't know if that really works for me... So, it's about guilt following Snape everywhere - omnipresent and he can't get rid of it. I think that's how he feels, always bugged by horrible memories and unable to forget...

Edit: One thing I forgot to mention: on the right --> Lily. And now that I said it in the comments already: there's this oddly shaped cloud above Sev's head; it's supposed to be the disguised sword of Damocles - the bad things from his past, ready to crush him any minute; I think that can make one got insane - never knowing when the inevitable will eventually happen.
powerful, evocative statement here. I particularly love how clearly lily's hand is gripping the fabric of his robe. I also like the deadness in his eyes that is just so very much like the book description. There's a true expression of stifled pain and suffering behind them ;_; But you can just tell that he tightens his mouth up and bears it. The blood on his hands is perfect, and Lily's ghostly eyes, so very haunting.
Thank you so much!! You flatter me. If I was a cartoon character I would be at the earth's core now for jumping so much from happiness! ^^ (uhm, that's lacking grammar, I think. ...it's early; forgive me )
